Who We Are
Willoughby dog walking brings enrichment and fun to enhance lifestyle so that pets can live their best life!
Trina Tyler
Owner/Operator/Pet Caregiver
Hi, I’m Trina!
Over the last 40+ years I’ve had the privilege of caring for, and unconditionally loving, many types of pets. Currently my love is equally divided between my two sweet kitties Boomer, who is 14 years old and Cedar, who is 8 months old. They live the good life!
I’ve been fortunate to have opportunities volunteering with domestic pets locally in Langley and wildlife in both South Africa and Langley. With a big heart for all animals, I am fierce in making a stand for, and donating to, causes that align with my values.
The greatest joy and blessing in my life is helping pets and their humans lead a holistic lifestyle. While obtaining my diploma in Natural Animal Sciences, it became abundantly clear how lifestyle choices impact the overall health and well-being of our pets. To extend longevity and offer the best quality of life pets need these basics:
- plenty of fresh air
- healthy exercise
- pure, clean water
- natural balanced diet
- toxic free home
- preventative care
- lots of love & snuggles
After spending 14 years in the Real Estate industry, it was time for a change and pursuing my passion of owning and operating a boutique pet care business – it is a dream come true! Willoughby Dog Walking came to fruition as a result of putting my experience and training together to help pet owners reach and exceed the lifestyle goals they have for their beloved pet.
Cedar
AKA munchies
Cedar, who’s name symbolizes strength, resiliency and longevity, is the newest addition to the Willoughby Dog Walking Family. He is an Exotic breed (basically a short-haired Persian) and this boy is the most adorable and is an absolute sweetheart. He is driven by food and cuddles and adds so much joy, spunkiness, and playfullness to our home. He is responsible for making sure the “early bird gets the worm” as he is often chewing on my nose while it is still dark and definitely way before it is time to start the day! His main duties at Willoughby Dog Walking is making sure life is full of love and laughter! He’s a great teacher of not taking life too seriously. He likes to chat and when no one else is around he is great company and we have the best conversations. When I arrive home from a busy dog walking day he is the first one to greet me at the door as he raises his little head for welcome home kisses!
